Property Registration

Women often get discount in registration rates either if it is done only on single lady or at least one lady is there in the joint registration.

For example:

Delhi

we 7% rate for males, 6% for couples and 5% for single woman

Uttarakhand

For Ladies : 4.5% Up to 20 Lacs

For Gents : 5.5%

Punjab:

2% less for women

Haryana

2% less for women and 1% for couples

Indian Rail

1. Ladies quota
2. 50% discount for women above 58 years in senior citizen
3. Lower birth quota for woman of age 45 and above travelling alone. If there are two people, then book 1 lady in single ticket to avail this quota
4. Lower birth quota for any pregnant woman( certificate required)

Property Loan

Women sometimes also get discount in home loan and other loan rates.
